Programs and Activities

Learn to run

 

Will be held on Tuesday evenings - May 21st to July 23rd.  Meet at the Rendez-Vous de la Baie in Church Point.  For ages:  18 and up.  Held from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.   $40.00 (includes running shirt)  If you've always wanted to run but don't know where to start then join Véronique Hogan and she will teach you the first steps.  Participants must commit to running two additional days per week to increase endurance levels.  Please drop by the Clare Recreation Department to register and to fill out the necessary forms.

Geocaches

The geocaches from the "Take the Roof Off  Winter" - February and March 2013 are ready.  Find all the caches and bring your passport to the recreation department to win a participation prize.  All passports brought in will also be eligible to win the grand prize - draw will take place on April 1st, 2013.  Click on the link below for your passport and for more details.  Have fun and good luck.

Canadian Tire Street Hockey Tournament

In sponsor of the Jumpstart Fund.  Will take place on Friday, July 12th and Saturday, July 13th in the parking lot of the Yarmouth Mariner Center.  For divisions:  Novice, Atom, PeeWee and Bantam.  Cost:  $10.00 per person.  Registration deadline:  Friday, July 5th.  For more details and for forms required, please visit the link below.
