At the February 20 regular Council meeting, two student groups from école secondaire de Clare presented their projects to Municipal council. Many thanks to the young residents for sharing their ideas and for practising their democratic right.

Pursuant to Section 168 of the Municipal Government Act, the Municipality of the District of Clare HEREBY GIVES NOTICE of its intention to pass a by-law respecting subdivision. The proposed by-law may be inspected at the Municipal Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday or by clicking this link. Council will consider any submissions respecting the proposed by-law. To this end, the Chief Administrative Officer will, prior to Council’s final reading of the by-law, inquire at the March 20, 2019 Meeting of Council as to whether any person wishes to be heard by Council in relation to the by-law. In the event any person wishes to have written submissions available for review by Council prior to the Council meeting, a copy of the submission must be delivered to the Municipal Office to the attention of the Chief Administrative Officer prior to 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019.

The Municipality of Clare is inviting proposals for the purchase and use of the former Saint-Albert Elementary School. Preference will be given to proposals that offer long-term socioeconomic benefits to the local community and to the Municipality as a whole. (Document here)
