Every year leading up to the Festival acadien de Clare, the Municipality of Clare installs approximately 200 “Bienvenue en Clare” banners throughout the community. This small but important initiative instills a sense of community pride among our residents. Normally, the installation costs are recuperated via private and corporate sponsorships. This year, however, in light of the circumstances and financial hardships encountered by residents and businesses due to COVID-19, the Municipality has chosen to absorb all costs associated with this program. We would like to wish you all a happy and safe start to the summer season!
Following the Province’s loosening of COVID-19 restrictions, the Meteghan Family Park is now open to the public. Sanitization is the responsibility of the user. Protect yourself and your family with regular hand washing before and after using playground equipment, and please practise physical distancing from others. Remember to follow cough and sneeze etiquette and please stay home if you are feeling sick.
The Municipality of Clare would like to congratulate from a distance the 2020 graduates of École secondaire de Clare and SMBA - Home of the Stingrays. From June 19 to 23, the electronic billboard next to the Clare Veterans Centre will be dedicated exclusively to our grads.
Congratulations to all of you for your achievements, your efforts and your perseverance. Caps off to a bright future!
