Saulnierville, NS, Canada – April 20, 2021: After careful consideration and monitoring of public health directives surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic as well as in consideration of the preservation of our brand, the 2021 edition of Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie has been cancelled. Our priority is the health and well-being of participants, volunteers, our community and supporters.
Pickling is something special for me because it is a family time that allowed me to learn how to make pickles. Plus, the basic recipe is so simple AND you can pickle anything you like!
I have fond memories of making this fudge every Christmas with my sister. Once it’s ready, I like to keep it in the fridge while she prefers it at room temperature—it’s always the big debate!
This is my favourite recipe! Even at 8 years old, I can make it all by myself. It’s crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside! It reminds me of all the love I have for my family.
Dandelions get a bad rap. Our grandparents have been using them for years as a source of vitamin C and riboflavin. Every part of dandelions can be eaten. This is one way that our grandparents used them.
